Privacy Policy

Who we are

SocialCloude (“we”, “us”) provides an AI-powered social media management platform at socialcloude.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our websites and services.

Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, and authentication credentials you provide when you register.

Workspace and business data: content drafts, brand profiles, media you upload, publishing schedules, integration connection metadata, and activity needed to operate the product.

Usage and technical data: log data, device and browser information, and approximate location derived from IP address, used to secure and improve the service.

Billing data: when you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status and related identifiers; we do not store full card numbers.

How we use information

To provide, maintain, and improve SocialCloude — including AI generation grounded in your brand context, approval workflows, scheduling, and publishing.

To authenticate users, enforce workspace permissions, and keep tenant data isolated.

To communicate about the service (security notices, product updates, and support).

To detect abuse, debug issues, and meet legal obligations.

AI processing

Features that generate or analyze content send relevant inputs (such as prompts and brand context you configure) to AI providers we use to operate those features. We do not sell your content. You remain responsible for the content you create and publish.

Integrations and publishing

When you connect third-party platforms (for example WordPress, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, or other social networks), we store credentials securely and use them only to perform actions you request, such as publishing or fetching account metadata. Those platforms process data under their own privacy policies.

YouTube API Services

SocialCloude uses YouTube API Services to let you connect a YouTube channel, upload and publish videos you approve, and read limited channel metadata needed to operate that integration. By connecting YouTube, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms).

Data we access via the YouTube Data API: OAuth tokens you grant; channel identifiers (such as channel ID, title, and handle); and, when you publish, video metadata and upload progress required to complete the upload you requested. We request only the scopes needed for these features (for example upload and read-only channel information).

How we use YouTube data: solely to provide SocialCloude features you enable — authenticating your channel, uploading approved videos, recording publish status and external video IDs, and displaying connection status in your workspace. We do not sell YouTube user data, and we do not use YouTube API data for independent advertising or marketing profiles.

How we store YouTube data: OAuth credentials are stored encrypted in our server-side credential vault and are never exposed to the browser. Channel metadata and publish records are stored with your workspace and business under our normal tenant isolation and security controls. Access tokens may be refreshed as needed to keep the connection working.

Sharing of YouTube data: we transmit video files and related metadata to Google/YouTube only to perform the publish or channel actions you request. We may share data with infrastructure subprocessors that host or secure our service, under appropriate safeguards. We do not share YouTube API data with unrelated third parties for their own purposes.

Deletion and revocation: you can disconnect YouTube at any time in SocialCloude (Integrations). Disconnecting deletes our stored YouTube credentials for that connection and revokes the refresh token with Google where supported. You can also revoke SocialCloude’s access in your Google Account permissions (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions). To delete your SocialCloude account and associated stored data, contact [email protected]; we will delete or anonymize retained data as described in “Retention and security,” subject to legal retention requirements. Videos already published to YouTube remain on YouTube under your YouTube account until you remove them there.

Google’s privacy practices for YouTube API Services are described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

Sharing

We share data with subprocessors that help us run the service (hosting, databases, email, AI, and payment). We require appropriate safeguards.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of SocialCloude, our users, or the public.

We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and comply with law. Integration credentials (including YouTube OAuth tokens) are retained only while the connection is active; disconnecting removes those credentials from our vault. We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You may update account details in the product, disconnect integrations (including YouTube), revoke Google access via your Google Account permissions, and request deletion of your account by contacting us at [email protected]. Workspace owners control membership and business data within their tenant.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise those rights.

Children

SocialCloude is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
